Clinician Spotlight🔦: Ashley L. Wolke, MA, LMHC

Ashley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and a graduate of Adler University’s Master’s Program in Counseling Psychology. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she has worked with clients across the lifespan and especially enjoys supporting teens and adults.

Ashley believes that traumatic experiences often serve as gateways to challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance use. Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), TF-CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and emotional intelligence education, she helps clients explore how their personal narratives influence emotions, decisions, and worldview—while building greater psychological flexibility and self-understanding.

One colleague said of Ashley: “Ashley demonstrates a high level of clinical competence through her use of evidence-based practices with her clients and applies that same skill and professionalism in her role as a supervisor.”

When she’s not working, Ashley enjoys strategy games, listening to music, and adventuring—interests that mirror her curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for meaningful experiences.

Ashley also contributes to the Pillars blog. Her recent piece,

How to start your 2026 with intentions that stick:

1. Turn your new year’s resolution into one clear intention.
Instead of “change everything this year”, choose one thing you want to feel or practice more in 2026 - e.g. “Be kinder to myself”, “Protect my boundaries”, “Trust my pace”.

2. Anchor it to a daily ritual.
Join our Intentions Challenge - it’s just 5 minutes each morning for the first 31 mornings of 2026. Each day is with a different teacher, and completely free. Comment ‘Intention’ and we’ll DM you the link otherwise sign up.

3. Put your practice in your calendar.
Treat your 5-minute morning session like any other commitment. Add “Daily Intention Practice” to your calendar/alerts so it doesn’t get pushed aside by emails, errands, and everyone else’s priorities.

4. Reward the process, not perfection.
Celebrate every day you show up - not just some distant “perfect version” of you. Notice how it feels to move through your day with a clear intention. Let that feeling be the reward that keeps you going.

5. Drop all-or-nothing thinking.
Miss a day? That doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It just means you start again tomorrow. The goal is not a perfect streak - it’s becoming more intentional, more often.
