with healthy Vegan treats that taste delicious! I don"t like to use terms that describe in the negative, so rather than "something-free", I like to think of my cooking and baking as Life Affirming. I learned much about vegetarian/vegan from my son, who decided at age 6, "its wrong to eat animals". While the entire family did not follow suit, at that time, I completely supported his choice, learning to cook more mindfully. It took years to make my own transition, and I've never felt better about the food I eat. I know that I have chosen to support life for another being. All these years later, I have also been inspired by my daughter, who as a young teen, found her Passion, and chose to Follow her Dreams. Now, as she becomes an "official adult", she has already made those Dreams come true, well ahead of her peers. Taking care of my kids, providing Delicious and Nutritious meals, was a central part of my "job". I realized that my passion for adapting recipes to my new food choices, as well as for friends and their own needs, is my Passion, and my Dream.
