When I teach yoga, sometimes I will have my students observe their body, scan it, taking notice of any feelings and sensations.

Not passing judgement just noticing and if anything, be curious.

Today I would invite you to find something you are grateful for about your body.

We often are better at naming and pointing out our body shortcomings.

Coming to your appointments, check traffic.

It seems that the city of Mesa has decided to do construction on ALL roads at the same time. Not fun when you need to get somewhere. Please check traffic a head of time to help with frustration and missing time on your appointment.

Did you know???

Sometimes it's difficult to carve your time out for a massage. I get it. One helpful tip that I would like to share with you is to prebook it just like a Dr appointment and stick to it.

If you'd like to go a step further and really commit to your treatments you can book recurring appointments, like weekly, monthly, every third week of the month as examples. Same time each week/month less brain work to remember. Let me know if this is something you'd like to try. You can always cancel at any time, no commitment required.

People are surprised when they hear I get 3 massages a month.

I take care of myself for myself and for all the others that I also care for, family, friends and clients!

I don’t just get massage, I have recently started seeing a Myopractor and a new mental health therapist (A good head space is just as important). I do red/NIR light and work out 4-5 days a week, spend time outdoors every day. (It’s my happy place) I try to eat healthy and also nurture my spirit.

It’s a continuous journey with ebbs and flows. Some things cycle in and out or tweak just a little.

Self care is so individual, just like yourself. ✨

You are important and worth the time and effort! Imagine if you felt good inside and out. 🤍
