The Chambers’ were early pioneers in Cheyenne County. Mr. Charles P. Chambers appears to have married twice. I found no information about Sarah Chambers (1861-1884) who died at the age of 22 and is buried in Iowa. There is apparently one child from the first marriage. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen. He was a charter member of the Sidney Loan and Building Association and was secretary for the Sidney Farm Loan Association. And wait! There’s more. He was a county judge, a teacher and superintendent of schools.
