My passion is everything DME, it's what I have been doing for 17+ years. I got my lucky start in 1995 at Drug Emporium Home Health they had a little DME store inside Drug Emporium and had a help wanted sign, I applied and got the job! I have Mike Allen (store manager...wish I knew where he was today) to thank for my career, he gave me the opportunity to learn all aspects in the DME industry and that is what I did! I learned through trial and error and a lot of reading, first what the equipment was and how to use it, how to do a good intake, how to bill and get paid! I learned how to do billing electronic with Dezine software (read a lot), I learned how to bill from billing claims and getting denials! I went to any and all available workshops to stay with in guidelines, I went to fraud seminars. It takes a lot of dedication to be the best at what you do, I was dedicated.
