Reset Lifestyle “Just show up”
Reset Lifestyle strives to encourage and inform you. The goal here is to empowering you to make healthier lifestyle choices. You can do it!

For many Resetting how we eat is one of the biggest challenges to changing to a healthier lifestyle. I find that the "fitness" aspect usually gets the attention, leaving many to believe they can exercise their way to a healthier state without adjusting the way they eat at all. This is bound to result in frustration, disappointment, setbacks and rebounds. Fitness is a component, but not the solution. It takes balance in lifestyle.

-Moderate Exercise
-Proper Sleep
-Supplementation (in some cases)

I have not checked in for a while. So just a quick update.
My daughter was in town a few weeks for the holidays so I had a workout partner.
As we enter 2026 commit to move your body. You were created to move physically. When you stop, things start deteriorating. It doesn’t have to be GymRat work out. Doesn’t even have to be in a gym. Just do something physical with your body every week.

Had a good full body workout today at the gym.
Normally during the Summer I would do my Cardio in the gym on a treadmill. But opted for the park today. Even though it’s hot (95*) it didn’t feel like it since there was a good steady 16 mph breeze from the south.
I did 1.12 mile walk/jog in the park and a hour workout in the gym working on upper and lower body. All-in-all a hour and 20 minutes workout.

I weighted in at a 26.2 BMI. I have 7.1 pounds to lose to reach my goal BMI of 25. Wish me luck 😃😃.
