🌟 Success Spotlight: Mark’s Journey to Recovery! 🌟

We’re beyond proud to celebrate Mark as he graduates from physical therapy at Movement Specialists Physical Therapy! 🎉

Mark came to us after his right total hip replacement. At that time, he was experiencing significant pain (up to 9/10), limited hip mobility, difficulty dressing, and challenges getting in and out of the car. Walking required a cane, and everyday tasks felt like major obstacles.

Through consistent effort, progressive strengthening, and a focused rehab plan, Mark made incredible strides in his recovery working through post-operative soreness, nerve sensitivity, and hip weakness.

His dedication to his home exercise program and willingness to push through challenges made all the difference.

Congratulations on your graduation, Mark. Here’s to staying strong, active, and moving forward!

Give your shoulders some love today! 💪🩵 This side-lying shoulder extension is perfect for improving shoulder mobility, boosting circulation, and keeping your joints happy. Use a light weight or just your arm — consistency matters more than intensity.

Try 3 sets of 10 reps per arm and feel the blood flow! Your shoulders (and posture) will thank you. 🙌

Your trust means everything to us. Every evaluation, every follow-up visit, every success story… it’s an honor to be part of your journey.

To our incredible team, thank you for bringing excellence, compassion, and energy into this building every single day.

And to our patients, thank you for choosing us, believing in us, and allowing us to grow. We don’t take that lightly.

Runners: don’t wait for ankle pain to sideline you. 🏃‍♀️🦶

Even small aches can signal imbalances, weak muscles, or overuse — and what starts as a minor twinge can quickly become a bigger injury that keeps you off the track.

Preventable action now means stronger ankles, better form, and fewer days missed running. Physical therapy can pinpoint the root cause, strengthen what needs it, and help you keep hitting your goals — pain-free. 💪

Protect your miles and your passion - reach out to start your personalized prevention plan today!

We say it all the time in the clinic: your body was made to move - not sit all day. 🪑➡️🚶‍♀️

Long periods of sitting can slow circulation, stiffen joints, and contribute to back pain, hip tightness, and even cardiovascular strain over time. The good news? You don’t need a full workout to make a difference. Gentle, consistent movement throughout the day adds up.

A short walk after work. An extra lap to the mailbox. Standing up to stretch between meetings. These small choices keep your muscles active, your joints lubricated, and your heart supported.

From a physical therapy perspective, movement is medicine — especially when it’s built into your daily life. If your body has been feeling stiff, achy, or “off,” it may just be asking for a little more motion. We’re here to help you find it. 💙

Strength doesn’t have to mean heavy weights or intense workouts. Sometimes, it’s as simple as consistent, low-intensity movement - even using just your body weight. 💪🫀

Regular strength training plays a powerful role in reducing the risk of chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis. It helps improve circulation, regulate blood sugar, support joint health, and maintain muscle mass - all of which become more important as we age.

From a physical therapy perspective, strength isn’t about pushing limits. It’s about building resilience so your body can support you in everyday life - standing, walking, lifting, and staying independent with confidence.

At Movement Specialists, we focus on safe, sustainable strength that meets you where you are and supports long-term health. If you’re ready to move with more confidence, we’re here to help. 💙

🌟 Success Spotlight: Anya’s Journey to Recovery! 🌟

We’re so excited to celebrate Anya as she graduates from pelvic floor physical therapy! 🎉

Anya began working with Elise during her pregnancy due to significant p***c bone and low back pain that impacted her daily comfort. Through individualized pelvic floor therapy, she was able to manage pain, prepare her body for delivery, and transition confidently into motherhood — welcoming a beautiful, healthy baby girl. 💕

After being cleared by her OB-GYN, Anya returned for postpartum care to restore strength and coordination.

Today, she’s celebrating some amazing wins:
✅ 0/10 pain
✅ No pelvic floor symptoms
✅ Pain-free return to daily activities & exercise

She’s now back to platies and feels strong, confident, and empowered in her postpartum journey.

Anya, it’s been an honor supporting you every step of the way — congratulations! 💙 Keep up the great work with your HEP!
