🏃♀️ Common Running Injuries to Watch For 🏃♂️
Running is one of the best ways to stay active, but repetitive impact and increased mileage can sometimes lead to injury. Knowing the early signs can help you prevent bigger problems down the road.
Here are some of the most common foot and ankle injuries we see in runners:
👣 Plantar Fasciitis – Heel pain, especially with the first steps in the morning
🦵 Achilles Tendonitis – Pain or tightness in the back of the ankle
🦶 Stress Fractures – Small cracks in the bone caused by repetitive impact
⚡ Peroneal Tendonitis – Pain along the outside of the ankle and foot
👟 Posterior Tibial Tendonitis – Pain along the inside of the ankle and arch
🔥 Metatarsalgia – Pain and inflammation in the ball of the foot
