I was about to drive home after a long day and I was as packing up ,my phone rang. I almost didn’t answer because I was tired after painting & cleaning after 150 students; sad, because sometimes life is sad, and stuck in my head . But I answered and nature and friendship healed me.
It not only takes only 1 person to reach out, but you also have to answer the call, Accept the gesture.
It takes YOU-to get OUT of your own head, to let sadness go, if even for a moment.
Life can be sad, especially around the holidays, but only one person can change the narrative, and that’s you.
Call someone to hike, go for a walk, ski get coffee.
Answer the call even if you’re on your pjs, comfy and don’t want to talk.
Get outside & get fresh air.
