It’s such an honor to be on the tai chi teaching path under the guidance of

The “Sexy” in Sexy Fit Vegan has nothing to do with being “pretty” or “f*ckable”.

It’s not polished.
It’s not performative.
And it definitely doesn’t exist for the pleasure of another human.

Sexy is showing up when it’s hard.
Sexy is discipline rooted in self-respect, not punishment.
Sexy is choosing to meet yourself with compassion.

Sexy is training your body and your mind.
Knowing when to push.
Knowing when to soften.
Listening deeply instead of forcing.

Sexy is living in alignment with your values—
moving through the world doing the least harm and the most good,
including how you treat your own body
and how you show up for other beings - especially the most vulnerable among us.

2025 was my year of the Muscle Up… I set the goal to get a (kipping) muscle up and in a matter of a couple months I got it!

2026 is the year for me to get the human flag (as one of my calisthenics goals).

Discipline is making choices intentionally with your future self in mind…. “What decision will my future self thank me for making now?”

And as always, I am powered by PLANTS and fueled by COMPASSION.

The Sexy Fit Vegan style of training is as much about conditioning the mind as it is about strengthening the body. 🧠💪

It’s about learning to live in the balance between yin and yang ☯️

✨ Knowing when to soften
(I’m working hard on learning to soften- I have been pushing my whole life!)

Knowing when discomfort is in our best interest and when it’s to our detriment.

Because discipline isn’t willpower.
It’s the practice of making intentional choices—
choices aligned with your values,
choices your future self will thank you for. 🌱

That same discipline is why I’ve chosen a vegan lifestyle for 30 years.

Nothing feels more aligned than moving through the world
doing the least harm
and the most good
for all living beings—
especially those who are vulnerable and at our mercy. 💗🐾

2025 was my year of Tai Chi — a practice I’ll be carrying with me, alongside yoga, as the foundation for a healthy, mobile, open, and grounded body and mind for the rest of my life.

I’m weaving these principles into everything I love: calisthenics, animal locomotion and primal movement, Muay Thai, and kettlebell/weight training — and of course, passing this embodied wisdom on to my clients. Because movement isn’t just about getting stronger… it’s about moving smarter and with more awareness. (The Sexy Fit Vegan way!)

This year, I’m building on that foundation by beginning my Kung Fu journey under the guidance of Fred Holt. Learning new “waves” of movement through martial arts lights me up on every level — body, mind, and spirit — and I couldn’t be more excited to step onto this path.

2025 was a year of massive growth for me.
And the twist?
That growth didn’t come from pushing harder — it came from letting go.

I’ve always been a doer. A hustler. A go-getter.
For most of my life, I believed working harder was the path to purpose.

That purpose hasn’t changed:
to stand for animals, live fierce compassion, and help raise consciousness.
But the how is evolving.

A few years ago, burnout caught up with me — hard.
Insomnia. Deep questioning. A total reset.
And honestly? I didn’t “bounce back.”

I wasn’t meant to.

A single conversation with an Ayurvedic practitioner cracked something open:
my yang energy was running the show… and it was time to nourish my yin.

That led me to Tai Chi.
To daily meditation.
To slowing down — on purpose.

So 2025 became the year of:
• Tai Chi
• Daily meditation
• Regular yoga
• Less force, more presence

And yes — I’m still me 😄
I didn’t give up strength training, calisthenics, or boxing.

Life’s sense of humor?
While focusing on softness, I re-tore my ACL sparring Muay Thai…
had reconstruction surgery…
and rehabbed back to full function in six months.

Which brings me to 2026.

I’m not setting goals.
I’m not making resolutions.

I’m choosing a way of being.

Peace.
Love.
Abundance.

Trusting that as my inner state shifts, the outer world will respond —
and letting the Universe handle the form.

Boom 💥
That feels deeply, undeniably soul-aligned.

🥳Celebrating 1 year of consistent tai chi chuan practice …

One year of intentionally cultivating yin in a body—and a life—that was built on yang.

I’ve always known how to push.
Train harder. Go longer. Hold more. Do more.
What I didn’t know how to do… was soften.

Tai chi has cracked me open in the best way.
Teaching me that power doesn’t come from force—
it comes from alignment, awareness, and restraint.

This practice is changing everything:
how I train
how I recover
how I regulate my nervous system
how I relate to myself and the world

Infinite respect and gratitude to Sifu Fred Holt for his steady guidance and transmission of this beautiful art.
And to Sifu Lester, whose teaching continues to deepen my understanding and embodiment.

What I’ve been up to lately….

2. Got to use a fire extinguisher 🧯 for the first time in my life… had the bright idea of using the oven as a storage place for my new one-pot 🤦🏼‍♀️ Lesson: Don’t use the oven as storage (duh!)😂

3. Celebrating 1 year of tai chi chuan practice under the guidance of (this is us practicing push hands).🙌🏼 I’m hooked. Shout out to my other teacher as well!

4. Trip to Dominican Republic for my beautiful friend Karina’s beach wedding where I also got to hang with (founder of farm sanctuary)❣️

5. Lots of muscle ups at Muscle Beach with new and old friends 💪🏼

6. Strength training outdoors is the best!🏋🏼‍♀️

7. Making easy, delicious vegan food like this kimchee, edamame, avocado & sprout open face 😍

8. Plenty of stretching and mobility to balance out the strength training. Fiona is the best stretch partner 🐶

I’m now almost 7 month post ACL surgery and barely have any limitations at this point! 🥳
