Poles Crash Through Semi-Truck’s Windshield in Tampa, Shutting Down I-275 TAMPA – A terrifying scene unfolded Friday after two concrete poles broke loose from a flatbed semi and crashed through the truck’s windshield along I-275. My brother and I were with my mom at the Holiday Inn on LeJeune. She had to work through the storm and she said she would only do it if her kids could come with her. We staying on the highest floor in the hallway with other guests and staff’s family. I remember walking around offering people coffee from a coffee cart.
