✨ This post was inspired by a supervision session last week 🙏🏼 It dawned on me that my colleague and all of us feel this pressure to fill the cracks and gaps for our clients. We were never meant to hold everything. In fact, because we have, we are losing ourselves. But what if letting the cracks show is the bravest thing we can do?

This post is your reminder:
💥 Let the gaps be seen.
💥 Let the system feel what it keeps ignoring.
💥 You can care deeply without carrying it all.

🪷Grief taught me that community isn’t just comfort, it’s survival.

In 2010, I lost my mother to cancer. Three years later, I lost my fiancé to su***de. Navigating those losses showed me how essential it is to be held — emotionally, spiritually, and socially.

Yes, I had friends and family who loved me deeply. But it was my social work and therapy community that held space for me in a way only those who truly get it can. These humans understood the silent weight I carried. They are the ones who saw me, without needing every detail explained.

That’s why in 2017, I co-created a support space for social workers and therapists. We need spaces that embrace the heaviness we experience personally and professionally.

This shoot was just a moment with a few women I adore — but there are so many others who’ve poured into me over the years. Women who are fierce, kind, intentional, and grounded. Women who do their inner work, who speak with truth and tenderness, who honor difference, and who always circle back to connection.

🪷My healing began the moment I was seen, not just supported.

✨The incredible women in this shoot:

What a full month you were 🌸March 2025

🥙I had lunch and brunch with my favorite gals.

🎤I had the privilege of facilitating an experiential wellness program for Miami-Dade school social workers, using play and presence to foster connection and resilience. And yes I had no shoes on 😆

🎶The very next day, I performed in my first choir concert with

🏥Then, just two days later, I had an accident while cutting a tree and went to the ER. After getting stitches and having time to process, I was resisting reality, caught up in how this could have been preventable and how close I was to having a deeper injury. Some old emotional wounds surfaced and a lesson appeared and that lesson led to gratitude.
I am thankful for the reminder that life is fragile, unpredictable, and deeply precious. I am also grateful for my friends who shared “you’re going to have a badass scar to show” 😂. Check out the before and after pics! I still have a chichón 🤕 on my chin 😁

🌈Launched our newest product in my store the 7 Chakra Kits. Chakra healing kits for each chakra that includes meditations, how to use the kits, and a workbook that created! Best part, the kit and all the goodies is only $10 🤩

All while remodeling my place…Ahh April bring it on!

I had a nightmare about Trump last night, and honestly, I’m mad my subconscious wasted good REM sleep on that. Can I get a refund?

Jokes aside, I remind myself daily that this man doesn’t have power over me—but the truth is, he does. His influence, the chaos he fuels, the confusion he creates - I mean I dreamt about him. 😳

💪🏼But here’s what I know for sure: I have power too. We have power. Collective power. And no matter how freaking wild things get, I’ll keep showing up, speaking out, and doing my part.

That being said, I believe in media boundaries. Know thyself and know when consumption leads to overwhelm and take a step back. If you still feel a need to process further in community, check out our free monthly peer support group! Sign up for the calendar invites in my link in bio 🔗
