Team Lady ZAP is raising funds for Bike to the Beach on March 28th in Deerfield Beach, to support the Autism Society of Florida, with a major focus on drowning prevention. 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

But this ride is about more than miles.
It’s about lives.

Florida continues to see heartbreaking drownings of children with autism each year. Water safety education, swim lessons, first responder training, and legislative advocacy are critical — and ASF is leading those efforts statewide.

The Autism Society of Florida is actively working to:
✔️ Expand drowning prevention education
✔️ Provide water safety & swim training resources
✔️ Advocate for legislation to protect vulnerable children
✔️ Train first responders & families
✔️ Raise statewide awareness

Hi, there. My name is Zofia, but most of you know me as Lady ZAP.

My family is supporting Bike to the Beach ride again this year to raise funds for the Autism Society of Florida so they can continue doing more wonderful things in Florida, like protect children with autism from drowning, and empower the autism community with resources needed to live fuller lives.

Bike to the Beach is an annual fundraiser on March 28, 2026, in Deerfield Beach that anyone can join as a virtual rider (like me) or an in-person bike rider. Whatever your ability is to join, all monies raised go to support the vital programs ASF makes available that keep people with autism safe.

Zofia says, 'Thank you' and 'Awesome!' This award-winning painting, 'Irish Blessing,' will be featured in Zofia's upcoming exhibit, 'Recollections in Bloom' at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, this April.

For the second year in a row, we are proud to announce Zofia Amie Perez as ANI’s Judge’s Choice Artist for the Adult Category in our 2025–2026 Celebration of Creation.

This year, Zofia’s artwork Irish Blessing captured hearts and stood out among an extraordinary field of artists. Inspired by an original photograph of a Cherry Blossom tree in full bloom at St. Stephen’s Green Park in Dublin, the piece is created with oil pastel on black paper. Vibrant pink blossoms emerge against the dark background, grounded by lush green grass and a winding pathway. The result is tranquil, luminous, and deeply moving.

Marvin D. Rouse, artist and judge for ANI’s 5th Annual Celebration of Creation, shared why Irish Blessing rose to the top:
“Irish Blessing is one of my favorites in the entire competition. From the lighting and color choices to the texture and originality, the ex*****on of balance and theme is superb. The emotional impact of the composition truly moved me; it provides the same uplifting feeling I experience when I am in nature. Creatively, this was beautifully executed, hitting every mark to establish it as a true masterpiece.”

Zofia is a multisensory artist, entrepreneur, brand ambassador, and self-advocate living in South Florida. Her work is influenced by Florida’s colorful, tropical landscape and is known for its texture, natural elements, and expressive depth. She is the creator of Sensory Wands, hosts Zofia’s Sensory Spin on YouTube with her sister, and continues to expand her artistic impact through exhibitions and community engagement.

Being recognized as ANI’s Judge’s Choice artist for the second year in a row is a testament to Zofia’s artistic growth, consistency, and powerful voice. She reminds us that everyone tells their story differently, and hers blooms through creativity, innovation, and joy.
