▪️Make sure that all adults wear face masks around your children

▪️Ensure that your vaccinations are up-to-date! 💉

▪️Prioritize your favorite hygiene and safety practices!

With more kids being able to get vaccinated, it’s no surprise that we’ll start seeing shifts within traveling…

Especially holiday travel! ✈️

With more families traveling, some parents are feeling more reluctant to travel for the holidays and instead, are waiting to book their trips until after the holidays have passed.

Vaccinations aren’t currently required to fly domestically within the United States, but it’s definitely been a hot topic! 🔥

Travel ban lifts = new travel protocols!

With the requirement of a negative C O V I D - 1 9 test to enter the U.S., so many travelers have been stumped on where to find testing sites, especially in a foreign country.

Though it varies, testing centers can normally be found at the same places, no matter where you’re at.

If you’re going to be traveling to Mexico or the Caribbean, most hotels and resorts have testing centers available on their premises.

On the other hand, those traveling from Europe are getting their tests done at medical clinics, pharmacies and specialized testing sites.

Some airlines have testing centers listed on their website, so checking there is currently worth a shot!

If you do plan on traveling abroad any time soon, make sure to do thorough research before you head out.

Don’t give up carbs! ❌

You might be tempted to, especially after living in a world that so heavily talks down on carbs…

BUT, carbs can work for you in SO many ways!

Here’s how:

▫️ Focusing on nutrient-dense carbs helps to maintain blood sugar levels, and are rich in fiber and B vitamins.

▫️ Your leptin levels go up when you carb-cycle, meaning alternating between high carb and low carb days.

▫️ Eating carbs provides benefits to those preparing for possible pregnancy or implantation.

Carbs are your FRIEND. Make them work for you!

Let’s face it, water weight can be such a drag…

It’s frustrating and feels like it might stay forever.

Trust me, I’ve been there! 🙋🏼‍♀️

BUT, I’ve got some natural and safe tips that are sure to help you say goodbye to that pesky water weight:

▪️ Limit your intake of processed foods and alcohol.

▪️ Lower your sodium intake. More sodium means more water retention!

▪️ Stay hydrated! This one might seem funny, but making sure that you’re getting a sufficient amount of water and consuming hydrating foods will help your body with its natural process of eliminating waste.

How was your morning?! ☀️

Waking up with a happy heart, mind and body every morning has given me the ability to show up as my BEST self for myself and those around me…

BUT, doing so starts with a well-thought-out morning routine!

If you’re looking to start your mornings will a little bit more pep in your step, try out these tips:

▫️ Incorporate your favorite movement. My favorites include yoga, hiking, walking and running! 🧘🏼‍♀️

▫️ Practice mindfulness. Be in the moment. This is, also, a great opportunity to journal!

▫️ Take in nourishing food. Fresh meals and snacks that provide nutrients for your body are key! 🥒

▫️ Lastly, keep yourself hydrated!
