Motion Ready is a Miami based personalized fitness and sports performance training company that offers services nation wide. Having been founded by two former collegiate athletes who have competed and/or worked in the professional circuit, Motion Ready has been able to combine experience with results in order to develop the most effective training strategies. Drew, a certified personal trainer, has played basketball at collegiate, semi-professional, and professional levels throughout his still-ongoing career. Playing at the elite level requires an immense focus to be placed on injury prevention strategies, recovery methods, and the development and maintenance of several cornerstones of athletic performance such as speed, agility, strength, and power. In addition, Drew has extensive strength training experience, a certificate in sports nutrition, and a keen interest in holistic healing. Valle has competed in both collegiate and post collegiate track and field competitions as a sprinter, giving her the unique advantage of having to rely solely on training her body and mastering technique to improve speed and rate of force development. Valle is also a certified and licensed athletic trainer with a Master's of Science degree who provides emergency care, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitative services at a local high school in Miami. In addition, Valle has certifications in functional movement techniques, strength training, and sports nutrition, while also teaching a sports medicine course. Couple her personal experience as an athlete with her educational background and you can rest assured you are in good hands.

What’s the difference?
1. Personal trainers may or may not have higher education. **Athletic Trainers are required to get a master’s degree in athletic training from an accredited university
2. Personal trainers may or may not be required to be certified to practice. **Athletic Trainers have to pass a board certification exam and have state licensure in order to practice as an ATC and use the credential.
3. Personal trainers may be certified by a large number of different agencies with varying educational requirements, if any, and varying levels of accurate information. **Athletic Trainers are certified and must adhere to the practice standards set forth by ONE national certifying body.

Athletic trainers are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide injury prevention services, first aid and emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

Athletic Trainers are not personal trainers and are board certified sports medicine technicians who typically work with athletes but can serve any active population.

Stop. Re-evaluate what needs to be done. Create a new plan. & Continue forward!
People often spend too much time trying to make the wrong method work or berating themselves for not seeing success using said method. Redirect that energy into seeing what works for you!
