The only difference between “difficult” and “easy” is how many times you’ve done it. ➡️

Repetition turns hard things into second nature.

What feels difficult now only feels that way because you haven’t practiced enough.

The person who makes it look effortless? They’re just more practiced.

Repetition rewires resistance. It builds skill, ease, and eventually—confidence.

So if it feels awkward, clunky, or impossible right now… good. You’re in the exact place where transformation begins.

What feels hard now won’t always feel this way.

Keep showing up. Easy is just on the other side of practice.

Asking for support has been the most life altering habit I’ve adopted in the past 2 months!

I didn’t even realize how much I was counting on myself and myself only to get my life & business goals complete and how allowing myself to be supported, ask for help and feedback, and resources is seriously a game changer.

I see it so much in other entrepreneurs / founders and builders - we think we are an island - and that it’s a sign of strength and determination to get things done and figured out without external help.

A few months ago I joined an amazing community of other heart-centered leaders on a mission to transform our lives, our work & our communities. Having 50 people I can now call upon for support is the biggest sigh of relief! It’s allowing me to make forward momentum like never before.

Traveling LATAM was amazing - and - I am now realizing how lonely it also felt not having a consistent community of other like-minded humans around. Moving to ATX has been a wild ride full of gifts and blessings.

Grateful to some amazing humans I get to call friends!

When others are with you, do they feel seen and heard by you or are you constantly in your own mind, judging the situation, scanning the environment, getting the urge to check your phone, or thinking about how you will respond?

Presence is creating space for others to open up without feeling judged or like you’re not really hearing them.

In work, presence is the ability to do your best work and confidently put it down at the end of the day so you can focus on other things that are important to you, without guilt.

What do you think? What are some other reminders you keep or ways you deepen your presence in life?

Holding in my hand the reason why preserving ancestral wisdom is so important. ➡️

This little jar contains a cream that Mama Rosa makes for cramps that is the single most effective thing I’ve found for period pain in 17 years of searching.

It’s crazy to think about how ~80% of women experience cramps at some point in their cycle (and that’s every month for approx. 40 years of our life) but we still don’t have a good understanding why this is and why some women have much more debilitating pain than others.

She also gives this cream to women postpartum to help bring down uterine inflammation and heal faster. It’s multi purpose, inexpensive, and this jar will last a year.

I’ll be going live with her this Sunday at 3pm Chicago time to share a few amazing remedies like this one so if this topic is also dear your heart be sure to join us!

P.s. Did you know has the recording of our entire ancestral
wisdom virtual course up for sale on her website? This spring we did an 8 week course with Mama Rosa all about remedies like this one ^ so if that’s something you’d like to study check out the website!!

Save the Date! This Sunday at 3pm CST I’ll be going live with my teacher Mama Rosa from her home right here in Ecuador to learn about:

-Natural births (positions, remedies, how to prepare & heal)
-Natural herbal remedies for menstrual cramps and irregularities
-Menopause remedies
& more! You can drop your questions during the Live or send them to me via message prior

She’ll also be showing us her home altar and how she blends indigenous & western medicine with her work at the local hospital (she is one of the only indigenous midwives who also works at the hospital along with doctors).

She’s been practicing midwifery since she was 17 years old along with her grandmother (her traditions are orally passed down through her family) — so this is a unique opportunity to learn from someone who’s been in the space of woman’s health for 39 years.

Along with her work in midwifery (birthing, abdominal massage, uterine adjustments) she also does energetic clearings with herbs, eggs and palo santo. In summary — she’s the real deal !!

Feel free to share this one your stories & set a reminder + share with your friends who are future mamas or who do doula work ❤️❤️

Do you allow yourself to be supported? Do you feel like you have people in your life you can fully open up to?

Taking a moment of gratitude this morning for our women’s retreat in Boulder this Sunday & dropping the reminder that being part of community IS self care.

This weekend and I brought 16 amazing women from different walks of life but with SO many commonalities together to connect, share challenges, receive support and gain new breathwork tools to support them on this journey of life ❤️

Community support is nourishment just like water, food & sleep. When we share what we’re going through the load gets just a little bit lighter. We’re not meant to carry things alone, it’s just that at some point along our evolution we lost that “village” that’s supposed to help us.

So grateful for the women who co-created this space with us and looking forward to continuing this work in many more cities.

Struggling to find community in your city? My next women’s circle and breathwork practice is taking place virtually next Tuesday night - August 22nd. I’m creating these spaces for the exact purpose of helping us feel more connected and less alone, no matter where you’re based. It would be such a joy to see you there ❤️ You can learn more about what to expect via the first link in my bio!

Collaboration over competition ✨that’s a message I’d love to give to my 20s year old self & to all the women in corporate / in business who have been made to believe that someone else’s success comes at the expense of our own.

If you’ve been craving connection & community, along with some dedicated self care time from the comfort of your home, my next virtual women’s circle & guided breathwork practice is happening this Monday night! If you’d like to join (even if we haven’t connected before) you’re so welcome, and you can grab your spot at the link in my bio. 🦋🔗

Just finished a corporate workshop I’ve given dozens of times, but this one hit different ✨➡️

Before I started coaching full time I worked in corporate HR & Technology for 5 years.
My last full time position was with WeWork where I project managed a number of different implementations.
Today I delivered one of my Mental Health workshops to a company that used to be part of WeWork and one of my former projects 💫

In case you haven’t heard this in a while:
It’s ok to believe in yourself (even if no one else does).

I used to sit at my desk in a Chicago and then New York and day dream of doing what fully lights me up.

I also used to wonder HOW the heck I’m ever going to pivot my career & everything I invested in it.

I wish I could sit with my 25 year old self and let her know it all works out.
In the same way, I often meditate & call on my 40 year old self to provide reassurance that the things I’m still working toward now will also come to pass.

Today, I never let an opportunity to sit in a moment of grace like this pass me by.

I hope this can be a reminder to even 1 person to not quit your daydream, and that it gets so much better 🦋

🌊 How to ride a wave of emotion:

Ever heard the advice “feel it to heal it”?
Ever wandered what that actually looks like in practice?

Next time you feel overcome with an emotion, let go of the desire to stuff it down. Instead, ask yourself these questions for gentle exploration, presence & self care -

Where in my body do I feel it?
What do I feel (temperature, sensation, motion)?
What is the primary emotion I’m noticing?
Are there any secondary emotions underneath?
If the emotion could speak - what would it be asking of me?
What is 1 small thing I can do right NOW to feel lighter?

There are many many additional questions I offer myself and others, but these are a great starting point. If you have a journal nearby to jot these down so you can reflect on them later — even better!

Our body is a map of clues 🔎
Don’t pass up the opportunity to understand yourself and your internal state ❤️ There is SO much wisdom that resides below our neck.
