☀️🎈 Starting the Day the Flourish Way! 🎈☀️

Our morning in Flourish Memory Care was full of energy, laughter, and teamwork as residents kicked off the day with some fun exercise! Using our colorful parachute, everyone worked together to lift, move, and keep the balls bouncing while getting their bodies moving.

Activities like this help strengthen coordination, encourage social connection, and most importantly — bring plenty of smiles. It’s the perfect way to wake up the mind and body for the day ahead! 💙

✨ A Moment to Remember ✨

During dinner this evening, our community was treated to something extra special — the beautiful sounds of a live accordion filling the room. 🎶

As the music played, our Flourish Memory Care Lead, Logan, couldn’t resist the moment and shared a dance with one of our wonderful residents. What started as a simple song turned into a moment of pure joy, laughter, and connection.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. 💙

🍌✨ Baking Magic in Flourish Memory Care ✨🍌

The kitchen was filled with smiles, laughter, and the sweet smell of homemade banana bread this week in Flourish Memory Care! Our residents rolled up their sleeves and brought the baking magic to life — peeling bananas, mixing everything from scratch, and sharing stories along the way.

There’s something special about baking together. The familiar smells, the simple steps, and the teamwork spark memories and create new ones all at the same time. ❤️

And the final result?
Let’s just say the banana bread didn’t last long… it was that good! 😋

✨ Exciting Updates to Our Caregiver Support Group! ✨

Caring for a loved one is meaningful — but it can also be exhausting. We want our support gatherings to feel like something you truly look forward to. That’s why we’ve made a few exciting changes!

Our Caregiver Corner Support Group is now Caregivers Retreat. 🌿

Why the change? Because our goal is for every caregiver who attends to leave feeling refreshed, supported, and recharged — just like you would after a retreat.

We’ve also adjusted the meeting time to help make it easier for more caregivers to attend.

💚 A welcoming space to share experiences
💚 Encouragement and real-life support from others who understand
💚 Helpful tips and resources for caregiving
💚 A chance to pause and care for yourself, too

As we step closer to spring, our Flourish Memory Care neighborhood is truly blooming 🌸✨

Our residents embraced the beauty of the season by creating their own stunning floral arrangements — carefully placing each stem, sharing stories, and enjoying the simple joy of working with fresh flowers. There’s something so special about watching creativity come to life around the table.

We also took our exploring spirit on the road with a visit to the nature preserve, where we discovered incredible critters, observed fascinating wildlife, and learned so much about the animal world. From up-close encounters to wide-eyed smiles, it was a day full of curiosity and connection. 🦋🐾

In Flourish, we believe growth never stops. We continue exploring, learning, creating, and blooming together — because every season of life is meant to be meaningful. 🌷

February Staff Meeting Recap ✨

What a wonderful time coming together as a team! Our February staff meeting was filled with connection, celebration, and of course… incredible food! 🍽️

Our amazing Culinary Department truly spoiled us with a delicious spread — creamy mashed potatoes, savory chicken, and fresh croissants that were almost too good to share! Thank you for always taking such great care of us.

We also had an engaging and energizing training led by our Executive Director that left us feeling motivated and aligned as we continue serving our residents with excellence.

A huge congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Taron, and our Community Hero, Iola! 👏 Your dedication, heart, and hard work do not go unnoticed. We are so proud to celebrate you!

Here’s to a strong February and continuing to support one another while enhancing the human spirit every single day. 💛
