Did you ever wonder why so few Latina Physicians hold executive positions? Are you a female physician (MD or DO) who identifies as Latina or Hispanic? Do you hold or have you held a senior level position at a U.S.-based health care system? Please join this study which includes an examination of female physicians who self-identify as Latina (or Hispanic) and who hold senior level leadership positions in U.S.-based health care systems. Given the alarmingly low number of Latina physicians in senior level leadership positions, this study seeks to investigate this population’s leadership formation as they climb to positions of power. To this end, we seek to identify leadership related knowledge, skills, and dispositions associated with Latinas who have reached the pinnacle of personal and professional success. Part A of the study consists of a confidential online survey which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Part B of the study consists of a two-hour behavioral interview (Telephone, Face-to-Face, Telephony). All information will be kept confidential and participants will remain anonymous. If you are interested in participating and believe that you qualify for the study, please access the following link for additional information: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BCNPYHR
