Are you living in sympathetic mode or parasympathetic mode? 🌿
Your nervous system has two settings. Sympathetic mode is your survival switch, it’s what kicks in when your body senses danger. Heart racing, cortisol rising, digestion paused. It’s brilliant for emergencies, but it was never meant to be your default setting.
Parasympathetic mode is where your body actually lives, healing, recovering, digesting, balancing hormones, calming the mind. This is your natural state. The problem is, most of us rarely get there.
Right now in the U.S., over 40 million people are being medicated for anxiety and depression. Many of them aren’t broken, they’re just stuck in survival mode with no way out. And while medication can help in some cases, it doesn’t fix the root cause. Worse, those medications often come with side effects that create a whole new set of problems to manage.
