In a world where AI can calculate macros, design workouts, and answer health questions in seconds, why do we still need doctors and health coaches?

Because information is not the problem.
Ex*****on, biology, and behavior are.

AI can generate calorie targets, protein goals, and structured plans.

But your body is not a formula.

AI does not examine you.
AI does not order labs.
AI does not interpret your blood work or detect subtle clinical red flags.

Fatigue may be iron deficiency.
Slow metabolism may be thyroid dysfunction.
Cravings may be unstable blood sugar.

That requires medical judgment.

Now let’s talk behavior.

Most people don’t fail from lack of knowledge.

They fail because they eat emotionally when stressed, self-sabotage on weekends, quit when results slow, and overestimate their consistency.

AI can guide.

It cannot confront you in real time.
It cannot read resistance.
It cannot hold you accountable face to face.

GLP-1 medications like semaglutide reduce appetite by altering hunger biology.

But if overeating is driven by stress or coping patterns, suppressing appetite does not resolve the emotional driver.

Technology can reduce hunger.
It cannot build emotional regulation.

These diseases don’t appear overnight. They develop over years of metabolic stress, inflammation, poor sleep, sedentary habits, ultra-processed foods, excess sugar, refined oils, and unmanaged stress.

No, lifestyle is not a magic cure.
No, genetics cannot be ignored.
Family history, environmental exposure, and aging all matter.

Back to baking.

My flour just arrived, and it’s time to restock.

I bake 4 to 6 sourdough loaves at once, slice them, freeze them, and every day I pull one slice straight from the freezer into the toaster.

Done.

Simple systems create consistency.

One slice daily. Always with organic raw A2 butter. That’s my choice. Adding quality fat to bread slows the glucose response compared to eating carbs alone. Not magic. Physiology.

And yes, sourdough is different. Natural fermentation improves digestibility and can reduce the glycemic impact compared to conventional bread.

It’s still bread.
But it’s better bread.

Sometimes I add a pinch of handcrafted Alaskan wild blueberry salt. Unreal.

This is what intentional carbs look like.
No fear. No restriction. Just quality, preparation, and rhythm.

Freezer stocked. Ritual restarted.
