Our new girls started laying and one of them consistently lays twins!! 新しい鶏ちゃん。双子ばっか産むの。嬉しいけど心配になって来た。卵がめっちゃ大きいんだけど大丈夫かな。痛くないかな。鶏の卵がでて来たときの「コケー」という鳴き声が面白い。

So it looks like we might have 7 varieties of mangos. We had two trees that never produced before that is producing this year. These smell like pina colada. Amazing…. 今年まで身がなったことがないマンゴの木からこんな美しい色のマンゴが！そして香りがピナコラーダの香り。どうやらうちには7種のマンゴがあるみたい。

I was taught that in some Native American cultures, people go out to harvest when they get a calling, and someone shows up that needs that medicine. Well a few days ago I harvested elderberries and they were sitting on my counter top waiting to go into the dehydrator. But then my daughter comes along with a terrible cold. So I made my special cold blast into a syrup version that also supports extreme throat pain. I used fresh ginger, a little bit of sacred osha root ( I try not to use plants that are scarce in the wild but osha is just soooo good for the respiratory that I throw in a pinch) wild cherry bark, ginger (fresh is best) marshmallow, licorice, cinnamon, rosehips, and elderberry. She is taking it every hour and is doing a lot better.
