👁️✨ Meet Our OSU Optometry Externs! ✨👁️

We’re excited to introduce Maddie and Sh*tal, who have been working closely with our doctors over the last few months.

👓 Maddie is from Pittsburgh, PA and completed her undergrad at Penn State. During optometry school she also worked as a dance teacher! She has a special interest in pediatrics and loves spending time with friends and family, as well as trying new workout classes.

👓 Sh*tal is a proud Ohio State alum with strong interests in contact lenses and pediatric care. She has recently given back by providing free eye exams to underserved communities. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her enjoying nature, playing pickleball or golf, cooking, and cheering on the Buckeyes!

Our Story

Come see us at our new location at 340 Alexandersville Rd, Miamisburg Our Practice was established in the 1940′s by Dr. CJ Wagner. Since that time there have been numerous changes both in Doctors and in expanded patient care. Dr. James Kuhlman joined Dr. Wagner in the 1960′s, when the new building was built on 928 East Central Avenue. Dr. Tom Flinn joined Dr. Wagner and Dr. Kuhlman in the early 70′s, shortly before Dr. Wagner retired. Dr. Keith Basinger joined the practice when Dr. Flinn retired in 1998. Then in 2004, Dr. David Anderson joined Miamisburg Vision Care as Dr. Kuhlman neared retirement. Dr. Kuhlman retired in 2007 and at that time Dr. Anderson’s wife Dr. Staci Anderson, joined the practice. Throughout the years, the doctors and staff have strived to provide the best possible care to our patients. Our goal is to be the best optometric practice in the Miami Valley. To achieve this we have well trained, knowledgeable staff members, the latest and greatest technology to examine your eyes, and we hope to do this in a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. We want you to see and look your best!
