💙It Sucks with a heavy heart💔 and tears 😢 in my eyes, nothing is more painful than trying to smile and remain positive, but after many tests, being poked and prodded, chemo and radiation, the person physically changes and they can suffer with sadness. I know many of you do not give a crap about this message because, the cancer has not affected you. You do not know what it's like to have fought the fight, or have a loved one who leads or has lead a battle against cancer. 💛💗
I ask you a small favor- I know only some of you will do it. If you know someone who has led a battle against cancer, still struggling, or who passed, please make this your status to support, respect, and remember. 💛💗💜💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤🤍 💙

Someone who had terminal cancer once said, "don't be sad for me, we all come to this world to be tourists, enjoy life, go sightseeing, do good deeds, I just so happen to be leaving earlier than others".
Today is Cancer Survivor Day.
Can I ask a favor?? Just a few of you will do it.

Are you unemployed? Under-employed? Are you interested in becoming a professional in healthcare or office administration?

Come to Massasoit this summer to participate in our Education and Training Fund (ETF) initiative for one of our free training programs. Each program will provide you with the skills and experience you need to get your new career started. You will also receive a stipend while participating in your chosen program!

Underemployed is defined as:

• working only part-time or

• working full-time earning under $15 an hour or

• if your yearly salary meets or is under 60% of your county’s median income [see table to the right].

If you meet the underemployed criteria noted above or you are unemployed, then you will need to submit proof using one of the following options:

• The first page of your 1040 Massachusetts or federal2022 tax return or

• A letter from the MA Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Unemployment Assistance. (Click unemployment letter to learn how to request the letter.) or

• Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) or Women’s, Infant & Children program (WIC) eligibility determination from MA Division of Transitional Assistance. (Contact the DTA Assistance Line at 877-382-2363 for assistance).
