PSA: Corban GRADUATED from speech!!! 🎉

I don’t always shout out my clients who graduate, but I have to share a little about Corban’s journey! He started meeting with me at a later age, and the hardest part about starting quality speech later in a child’s life is that we’re not only teaching how to get the right sound, we’re breaking longgg standing habits, as well. Corban worked so hard, his parents bought in and practiced with him each week, and now he’s done! 🥹

It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to clients, but I LOVE seeing their success and learning about who they are as a person along the way.

Not one, but TWO of my sweet clients passed IREAD this time!!!!! I’m so proud of them and for the hard work and extra hours they’ve put into their reading skills! 😭🥳 hard work pays off!

These two have individually worked with me doing the same protocol which focuses on letter reversals, foundational reading skills, and building confidence. It works! If your child struggles with suspected/diagnosed dyslexia, reading/writing/spelling challenges, or blending/segmenting words — reach out, I’m happy to help and be a small part of their success!! 🙌🏼

Congratulations to you, Nolan! 🎓🎉🎊

Early intervention is KEY to helping your child accurately hear and produce speech sounds. The way a child speaks, especially between the ages 2-5, sets the tone for their pre-reading and writing skills. But no age is too late to seek help!! 👏🏼

I only met with Nolan and his family every other week. Because his family bought in on the process and did the recommended practice between sessions, together we built Nolan’s confidence and awareness of his speech sounds, resulting in him finding success SO quickly!!!

I could not be more thankful to be in such a vast and life giving career! The amount of times I am moved to tears over the progress my clients make is no joke. Seeing confidence soar and goals met is such a win. Your child’s wins are also my wins. I love being a speech-language pathologist 🫶🏻
