A graduate from Youngstown State University, Michelle Polon started her career in the exercise science field. She utilized her degree and became a health fitness instructor/ personal trainer, while finishing her Masters of Physical Therapy at Andrews University in Dayton, Ohio. Over a span of 20 years, Michelle has enjoyed combining her traditional Physical Therapy services with holistic practice

She has a certificate in health coaching, extensive and continued training with Stott Pilates as a certified rehab pilates instructor. While stretching after a workout is important for recovery, stretching before you move—especially in the summer heat—is just as important for injury prevention and performance. 🏃‍♀️🌞

Before your walk, hike, or swim, try dynamic stretches like leg swings, arm circles, or gentle lunges to get your muscles warm and ready. Save the static stretches (the longer holds) for after your activity when your muscles are warm and more pliable.
