What you prioritize dictates what your life looks like
We all say we don’t have time or can’t afford it — but often, it’s not really about time or money.

It's about priorities

📱 If you can scroll IG for 20 minutes...you have time for a 20-minute workout

📺 If you can binge Netflix for hours...you can carve out 30 minutes to read something that helps you grow

🧑‍🍳 If you can easily drop $100 on dinner out...you can invest $100 in nourishing groceries

🎯 If you spend $150 at Target because there were “good deals”...you can invest in a coach or trainer who will help you feel stronger, healthier, and more confident

The truth? Investing in your health isn’t extra, it’s essential

In perimenopause, your energy, mood, metabolism and sleep can all be affected

Small shifts in your priorities can make a HUGE difference in how you feel

✨ Prioritize sleep to improve mood and energy
🥗 Prioritize protein to support muscle and metabolism
💪 Prioritize strength training to reduce joint pain and stiffness
🌞 Prioritize outdoor time to boost your circadian rhythm

It’s not about overhauling your life - it’s about putting your health on your priority list and perimenopause is the perfect time to do just that

There’s a rumor going round…

⏰ Time to set the record straight!

I hear government this Menopause Myth all the time: if you’re still menstruating, you’re not in perimenopause

Here’s the truth:

Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause and it begins in your mid to late 30s to early 40, YEARS before your periods stop

That means you most likely will STILL have your period while in perimenopause

The hormone fluctuations in perimenopause cause a whole lot of other symptoms, including changes in your cycle

🌸 Perimenopause often brings unpredictable periods

You may have a shorter cycle one month and a longer cycle the next

Your flow may be heavier one month, barely there the next, even skipping cycles some months - still menstruating but a cycle that is all over the place

⏳ Menopause is officially diagnosed 12 months after your final period

The average age of menopause is ~51 and perimenopause can start 10-15 years earlier

That means most of your perimenopause experience will be while still getting your period!
Menopause doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a slow transition. So, even if you’re still menstruating, your body could be well on its way through perimenopause

As a coach, your work has been a guiding light, helping me better support my clients through perimenopause.

You’ve inspired me and so many others to push the conversation forward, being loud and proud on social media, not accepting that we have to speak in hushed tones about peri/menopause and ensuring women are empowered with the right tools and information.
