Today marks the first day of a new month,
so I found it fitting to announce some new changes.
Yoga With Kim has a new look!
I've updated my name to Willow Yoga & Wellness by Kim. The name has been a long time dream of mine and one that I hold lost to my heart. As I continue pursuing this passion, I want to align the symbolism of the willow tree with the fundamentals and teachings of yoga. The willow tree has a vast history of meanings that have taken root in many cultures.
In my eyes, the willow represents flexibility. It represents the ability to weather the strongest storms while continuing to nourish and replenish. Willow Yoga & Wellness believes in adjusting to find balance while remaining grounded. In offering both Vinyasa and Gentle Yoga, you have the option to be your own guide in finding what best serves your mind, body & spirit. Bending like the willow to flow with whatever life throws your way.

Tonight was bittersweet for me. It was my last class taught in the infamous "man cave" in Chesapeake City. It is where I learned (and stumbled) my way through teaching my very first yoga classes. It's where I learned to work through fears and overcome self-doubt in deciding to start a new path. There were many laughs and many tears shared. I want to genuinely thank all of the family and friends(old and new) that shared this journey with me, especially my mom and dad for being so supportive in letting me use their space to cultivate a passion. Here's to a new chapter. Follow me to Middletown where I'll be teaching Tuesday and Thursday nights.
