Happy Sunday, Cottage Community! What a fantastic turnout at our Open House yesterday! We loved meeting all of you and can’t wait to see you at the Cottage again soon. We are SO EXCITED to announce that our raffle raised $278 for Black Mothers in Power thanks to you all and to Artsbyangelova’s donation from artwork sold at the event! I am also excited to announce that The Healing Cottage + Balanced Mind Counseling Center will each be MATCHING the amount raised by our community, making our donation a grand total of $834!! A better way to serve postnatal clients during the foundational 4th trimester 🤰🏽👶🏻💗
If you told these two MSW graduates back in 2009 that they would be co-founding a better way to serve postnatal clients in about 12 years, they wouldn't have believed you. We are proud to introduce Postnatal Support Advocates: providing in-home, emotional wellness visits during the 4th trimester + beyond. We are fiercely committed to reducing risk of postnatal mental health concerns, promoting parent/infant bonding and removing/reducing costs to clients. As licensed mental health professionals, we are able to bill most medical insurance plans (commercial + Medicaid) for our services. Stay tuned for more info and be sure to like and follow us! We are doing it Jen Sellitto-Penoza! Wouldn't want to be on this journey with anyone else!
