Thoughts on the Run: 'One Mile' event helps mental health programs
The second "One Mile an Hour-24" will be held Friday June 7th from 6 pm to Saturday June 8th at 6 pm at Appoquinimink High School. Discussion to include: Active Shooter Events, Emergency Preparedness, Suspicious Activity Reporting, Hometown Security Threats. No registration necessary.

Adult victims of crime are invited to participate in 2 FREE creative writing workshops to address issues unique to those who've experienced a crime. Participants will work on their own individual pieces. Dover and N. Wilmington locations.
The VRTF is sponsoring two creative writing workshops for survivors of crime. These workshops will be led by Tahira http://www.tahiraproductions.com/, a popular and inspirational artist and storyteller. Tahira's instructional presentation uses the art of storytelling to address issues faced by crime victims and each participant will work on their own individual piece.
