Today, while cleaning out some old files, I came across a stack of in-services from nearly a dozen former physical therapy student interns dating back to the early 2000's. I’ve been practicing PT for almost 27 years now, and seeing those materials stopped me in my tracks.
When I think about where those former clinical students are today—current private practice owners, clinical experts, professors, corporate-level leaders, and beyond—it’s truly amazing. Moments like this are incredibly humbling. They remind me that this profession isn’t just about the patients we treat each day, but also about the people we mentor along the way.
Grateful for the journey, the relationships, and the countless lives touched over the past 27 years. Feeling very thankful today and looking forward to 2026 and beyond!
