🪞Why do we use mirrors in speech therapy?

Because seeing is just as powerful as hearing! Mirrors give children visual feedback about how their lips, tongue, and jaw are moving. This is helpful for practicing oral motor skills, coordinating the muscles needed for clear speech and safe swallowing 🎙️🍟
