Hey y’all — it’s been a while since I’ve shared a full update, and so much has been happening behind the scenes that I want to bring you into the journey.
As many of you know, Dei’s Emporium is more than just a business — it’s a vision rooted in sustainability, spirituality, creativity, and healing. And lately, that healing part has taken center stage. I was recently hospital again earlier this year due to ongoing heart complications. It’s been a humbling and intense process — one that has required me to slow down, reevaluate, and tend to both my physical well-being and my bigger vision with more care and intention.
Because of this, I had to step away from my custodial job and focus on working a few other side jobs just to catch up on bills. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m still standing — and more committed than ever to manifesting what Dei’s Emporium is meant to be.
Despite everything, life is still blooming.
Right now, I’m preparing our 8 baby chicks to become strong, healthy egg layers. They’ve been such a light during all of this — a reminder of new beginnings and the abundance that grows slowly, with care. At the same time, I’ve been working on expanding their space by building a larger brooder using reclaimed materials, and eventually, I hope to craft a farmers cart to place near the property where I currently live — a way to offer fresh eggs, produce, and handmade items directly to the community.
The garden is also in motion, being prepped and planted to grow a wide range of herbs and vegetables. This living, breathing patch of Earth will soon be supplying the Grants Farmers Market, where I’ll be setting up a vendor booth. You’ll find me there offering not just produce and eggs, but also original art, metaphysical tools, handmade goods, and whatever else spirit inspires me to create.
One of my favorite and most ambitious projects right now is the construction of a walipini-style underground greenhouse. I’ve been out there with a shovel and a vision, digging into the Earth to create a year-round space for growing food sustainably. I’m using reclaimed and repurposed materials as much as possible — staying rooted in sustainability and self-reliance while honoring the land beneath my feet. This greenhouse will be a major game-changer for extending the growing season and building a regenerative system that can support the Emporium’s goals long-term.
Meanwhile, the Dei’s Emporium website is undergoing a major transformation.
It’s currently live and accessible, but updates aren’t reflecting just yet — because they’re part of a larger reboot that will launch later this year. When it goes live, you’ll see new products, refreshed branding, and offerings that better reflect where I am now and what Dei’s Emporium is becoming.
On top of all of that — new music has dropped!
For those who have followed my artistic and spiritual journey, you know that music has always been a way for me to process, heal, and share stories. The songs I’ve been releasing carry spiritual connotations, affirmations, and energetic storytelling — each one created with deep intention, flowing through me in whatever way the energy calls for. If you’re into music that speaks to the soul and honors transformation, I’d love for you to check it out and share it if it resonates.
All of this is happening while I heal, rebuild, and realign with my purpose. This has been one of the most challenging chapters of my life, but also one of the most meaningful. Thank you — deeply — to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, bought my work, shared my posts, or even just held me in your thoughts.
Dei’s Emporium is still growing — rooted in love, creativity, resilience, and spirit.
I can’t wait to show you what’s next.
With love and gratitude,
Dei Riddle
