We are collecting Toys for Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor!

The wonderful members of the Child Life team at Mott Hospital help kids cope with and endure numerous days in a hospital room, holidays away from home, pokes, medications and lengthy or painful procedures. Due to their compromised immune systems these children can’t share or re- use toys, crayons, markers, play doh, etc. The hospital relies on donations to provide these basic childhood toys and experiences to these kids. Our daughter, Mackenzie, was treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at Mott Hospital for two and a half years and these breaks from the painful and long treatments were so much appreciated. Every year since her diagnosis we have donated and collected NEW, UNUSED toys, coloring books, stickers, markers, crayons, play doh, games, stuffed animals, Visa and Amazon gift cards as a means of paying back and helping other kids in Mackenzie’s situation.

Please consider donating this holiday season, even a box of crayons makes a huge difference.....these kids deserve it!!!

It's that time of year again!!

We are kicking off TOYS FOR MOTT this weekend!!!

Every year we collect NEW, UN-USED toys for Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor! It's an amazing drive that brings joy and the Holiday spirit to some very sick kids.

If you would like to donate you may drop toys off to me at Athletico Physical Therapy in Milford. You can also purchase items on amazon and have them shipped directly to the clinic if that's easier for you.

Last night we had the pleasure of attending an Athletico University event presented by Dr. John Morasso, D.O.

He led us through examples of using the fascial distortion model to help treat our patients with myofascial pain.

We are looking forward to incorporating this hands-on approach in our clinic!

Farewell and best of luck to our student Connor!

Connor is a first year student from Grand Valley State University’s physical therapy program. Today he finished his 5 week clinical rotation with us here in Milford.

We will miss his energy and enthusiasm in the clinic, but we know he has a bright future ahead of him in the field of PT!
