2026 Immersion ⭐️

Nia Battle is at Augusta working with a multitude of sports. She says

“I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with the Athletics department and Athletic Trainers at Augusta University . It’s a great feeling to be able to give back to my Alma Mater and build upon my knowledge that I attained here during undergrad and apply what I learned here and at GCSU together. Being able to make new connects outside of Middle Georgia with athletes, ATs , and physicians here at AU and within the Richmond County / WellStar system has been amazing.

2026 Immersion ⭐️

Nikki Blake is completing her immersion ay Spalding high school. She says

“I am thoroughly enjoying my experience at Spalding High School. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a diverse range of sports and athletes, allowing me to hone my skills as an aspiring athletic trainer. The knowledge and guidance I have received from my preceptor have significantly enhanced my confidence and decision-making abilities. I am excited for what the remainder of the semester will bring. Hunter Martin is at his immersion at Georgia Tech. Working with baseball. He says

“My time with Georgia Tech baseball has been very transformative so far! It has pushed me out of my comfort zone while allowing me to apply what I’ve learned at GCSU. Paul has instilled confidence and helped me grow so much as an Athletic Trainer working in a high-level setting. Excited for the rest of baseball season! 🐝 ”

Owen Nobles is at his immersion at Ole Miss working with softball. He says

“I feel incredibly blessed to complete my immersion with Ole Miss Softball. Working with high-level athletes and a supportive preceptor has positively impacted my development as a future AT. Being fully involved and trusted with responsibilities has greatly influenced confidence and competence! Excited for the rest of the season! Go Rebs!! 🦈”

Nyla Moore is at her immersion at Emory University working with track and field and men’s soccer. She says

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow at Emory University. Each day brings new opportunities to learn, build skills, and expand my knowledge as an athletic training student. I’m excited to continue discovering what it truly means to grow as a future healthcare provider.”

Abbie Ritter is at Mount Paran Christian School working with all sports. She says

“I am loving my time at MPCS working in the secondary school location! The experiences I have had needing to work on my feet and make quick decisions has been both fun and challenging, and is pushing me to be a better AT daily! I am so thankful to learn so much from my preceptors and athletes, and love pouring into them every day! Go eagles!”

Mackenzie Modica is at The University of Florida working with Women’s Lacrosse. She says

“I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to work with UF Women’s Lacrosse this semester! The hands-on experience has been unreal, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds💙”
