Update as of 10/26/21: I am putting a hold on taking soap orders right now so that I can get caught up on the ones I already need to fulfill. Ok Giddy Goats fans, I need your help. I will be making special soaps to sell to benefit a special little boy. All proceeds will go to the family to help cover medical and travel expenses as they have a long road ahead of them. Here is his story as told from his super sweet Mom:

“Blaze was born with Hirschsprung's Disease and bilaterally moderate deafness in both ears. At the age of 3 he was diagnosed with Rickets. Summer of 2020, Blaze was diagnosed with Fanconi Syndrome and Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 2. As of August 2021, Blaze is now in Stage 3b CKD at 45% Renal Function. The doctors say that there is nothing that they can do for Blaze, we just have to wait till he reaches the Renal Function of 20% to be put on a Kidney Transplant List and then at 10% Renal Function where he can start dialysis. The doctor said that by the way Blaze is looking and his numbers are dropping fast we could be looking at a transplant as early as the end of next year.

I'm not ok with waiting around and doing nothing. My plan is to get a 2nd opinion. I have made an appointment with Cincinatti Children's Hospital, which is number 5 in the country for CKD, on November 22. I hope that I get a different answer for my son.”

My soap supplies will be in today and tomorrow and I will get started on them ASAP. I’ll be letting Blaze help pick the fragrances and design. I will be charging from $7 to $10 per bar depending on complexity of design and size. If you would like to preorder, contact me and I’ll put you down. I’ll have pics of the soaps when they’re ready. This is my best face scrub yet! Contains coconut sugar, coconut oil, brown sugar, Rose oil, turmeric, chamomile, bentonite clay, Black Sea salt, charcoal and a bit of honey. It’s approximately a 10oz jar for $23. A little goes a long way. There is turmeric in it so it will be yellow when water is added. Use warm water on face before application, use scrub and let it sit for 10 minutes then wipe with warm wash cloth. Skin will be so soft!!
