This piece was recently created for Trout National here in Vineland, and I’m incredibly grateful for how it was received. It made its way through multiple departments, and the response across the board was overwhelmingly positive—which meant a lot, not just to me, but to the community it represents.

Every detail here was intentional.

The wooden vessel was handcrafted by a local woodworker and custom engraved for this piece. The overall presentation was designed as a composition of its own—elevated, considered, and built with purpose.

Nothing about this is off-the-shelf.

Mother Earth does not chase, does not beg, does not force anything to stay.

She holds.

Everything grows from her, feeds from her, returns to her and still, she does not lose herself in what she gives.

And that is where her power lies.

Because giving is not her weakness.

Overgiving is not her nature.

There is a version of you that poured endlessly. That gave your time, your energy, your care without limits believing that the more you gave, the more you would be valued, the more secure things would feel.

But instead,

you felt drained.

Unsteady.
Unreciprocated.
Like you were holding everything, while nothing was holding you.

And that’s the shift Mother Earth teaches.

She nurtures, but she does not abandon herself to do it. She gives, but she remains rooted. She supports life, but she does not collapse under its weight.

She is stable within herself first.

And because of that

Everything else can grow around her.

You were never meant to exhaust yourself trying to be everything for everyone. You were never meant to give so much that you had nothing left to stand on. You were never meant to confuse love with depletion.

You were meant to be grounded.

To give from fullness, not from emptiness.
To support without losing your centre.
To care without sacrificing your own stability.

So if you feel like you’ve been giving too much, holding too much, carrying more than you should.

Come back to yourself.

Root deeper.

Because the moment you become steady within.

You stop needing anything outside of you to feel secure.

And that is where your power becomes something no one can take from you.
