Yes, a doctor really told me this when I expressed concerns with leaking during more intense workouts postpartum. 😳 And if you aren’t shocked (+ maybe a little bit angry) by this advice, then…you are probably like a LOT of pregnant and postpartum women. ​​​​​​​​

DISCLAIMER: We know it can feel impossible to decipher the good advice from the incredibly wrong/harmful. Especially if it comes from our own trusted healthcare provider. We are not here to advocate for you or interfere with your care provider’s advice. BUT, we want you armed with the best tools to advocate for yourself in pregnancy/postpartum. …And while we’re on the soapbox, please don’t waste money on random pelvic floor strengthening devices (without medical advice/supervision). ​​​​​​​​

…Oh, and don’t just do a bunch of kegels. ​​​​​​​​

If you have leaking or other pelvic floor concerns, seek out a pelvic floor PT. There’s so many amazing ones out there (a few tagged here). If you’re in the Milwaukee area, we highly recommend and !

Show love to your pre-pregnancy and pregnancy body for all it accomplished (hi, little one! 👋🏻) But love it, thank it, and then LET IT GO. ​​​​​​​​

I’ll take the cliche answer and say that I need a little of all four honestly 😂 I tend to burn myself out because I think I need to grind 24/7… but I’m learning to successfully manage my household, motherhood, marriage, and business I need a better balance between it all! ​​​​​​​​

I’m ready to tackle this year with rest to stay healthy and motivated. Peace - by cutting out all unnecessary crap…people, things, grudges. Hustle - well you know…adding some cool services into my business and growing . Lastly, focus - staying organized and in control of my progress and goals.​​​​​​​​

✨ 2 prenatal visits to talk about how I can best serve you and really to get to know you and your partner. My goal is for you to have your best birth experience.​​​​​​​​
✨ Unlimited text support because I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed. I am hear to cheer on the milestones, comfort any anxiety, and provide you guidance and tools to feel at ease and READY!​​​​​​​​
✨ Continuous support at your birth means I will be in the delivery room with you providing ANY support you may need. Sometimes it's physical support, sometimes it's emotional. Sometimes I make sure you have food/water/music/pillows etc. ​​​​​​​​
✨ After your babe has joined us earth side, I will remain with you for up to 2 hours just to help you get settled. Assist with firth latch if you plan to nurse or make sure you have the resources to make informed decisions about your babies care post delivery. ​​​​​​​​

A little Monday confession: I used to judge my ability as a trainer entirely on my physical appearance. It is SOOOOO easy to join the community as a professional, see all the "fitspos", then slap on the label of inadequate because I have a higher body fat percentage and extra curvy curves.​​​​​​​​

Pardon me for a sec, but SCREW THAT. I’m ready to be over the imposter syndrome. I’m qualified and damn good at training clients (humble, too 😉). My mombod currently has big b***s, a jiggly belly full of stretch marks…​​​​​​​​

…AND it’s also a total badass.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
I know what it takes to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight or pursue a different physique—if that’s what I wanted. And someday I may want those changes. I’m just straight up not willing to prioritize those things right now. The best part, though? I don’t need to have them as MY priorities in order to coach you through YOUR journey. ​​​​​​​​
