☔️Sometimes one plan falls apart so a better one can come together. 🌦️ When we heard the rain this morning, we quickly came up with a new plan. We love to support local women owned businesses, so we met up at instead! So glad that Katie, Marissa, Wes & Leia made it out to Pewaukee for some good food, delicious drinks and candid conversation today. Stay tuned for another low key meetup by a different (hint: great) lake next month 🌊

Even though we’ve been doing this for a while, it recently occurred to us that the WHY behind this account and community might not be so clear.

We’ve been hosting events since 2019 (!) for sober & sober curious women & NB folks in Milwaukee. And we believe our stories deserve to be seen, heard, read and spread, don’t you?

Because visibility matters and so does sober joy.
Because there’s so much life to be lived on the other side of alcohol.
Because we’re living, breathing proof of what’s possible when you choose yourself and your health over a multibillion dollar industry.

So today we are starting by sharing a bit of our founder’s story. What parts resonate with you?
