I’m beyond grateful to have a partner who is everything I could ask for and more. 💫 Through every high and low, he stands beside me, not just cheering me on but truly being a part of this journey. From carrying boxes to calming my worries, from encouraging words to silent support when I need it most—he shows up for me every single day.

It’s a blessing to have someone who believes in me, supports my dreams, and loves me through it all. He’s not only my partner in love, but my partner in purpose, and I couldn’t imagine doing this life or this business without him. 💗

Today my family and I visited Tricklebee Cafe in Milwaukee, WI, and it was such a beautiful experience. We enjoyed a warm lunch, received free clothing, and met some truly amazing spirits who filled the space with love and light. 💛

To give back, I’ll be donating free skincare products from Beauty from the Root to support their mission of nourishing the body, mind, and spirit. ✨

For those who may not know, Tricklebee Café is a pay-what-you-can community café that offers healthy meals, food-service training, and spiritual nourishment. 🌱

It’s Vegan Soul Friday (9/5) and here’s what’s on the menu (all vegan & gluten-free!):
🍝 Baked Spaghetti – brown rice/quinoa spaghetti with veggies & cheeze sauce
🌱 Katfysh Nuggets – battered jackfruit with housemade tartar or hot sauce
🥒 Cucumber Tomato Salad – fresh veggies in a citrus vinaigrette
🍑 Fruitful Crisp – plums, peaches, pears, wild raspberries, nectarines, oats & maple syrup topped with coconut whipped cream

Jacarrie Carr is typically known for giving away free shoes to children, but now he’s pouring his efforts into the reading development of Milwaukee youths by placing bookshelves inside North Side laundromats.

Carr, founder of Jacarrie Kicks4Kids, was washing clothes inside a Suds Your Duds Coin Laundry at 6050 N. 91st St. when he noticed an empty bookshelf not being used.

He saw the owner of the local laundry chain, Sean O’Byrne, and pitched the idea of filling the shelves with books and fidget items.

“When kids are in the laundromat with their parents and parents are washing clothes, instead of them just sitting there waiting on their parents, they can work on their reading literacy,” Carr said.
