30 minutes of focused exercise more days than not in a week is all it takes to feel an impact. During 2020 I started by 12 minute TABATA series and I may have been in the best shape of my life. It’s informed my approach that something is always better than nothing and it doesn’t take a huge block of time to make a meaningful impact. Use the time you have available and set realistic expectations.
I love my work and each Summer I get to teach and exercise with friends when in Michigan. We carve out 30 minutes in the morning to exercise before the kids activities take over our day. When you’ve got a group that’s motivated together (like my awesome accountability groups at home in WI) exercise is always easier and way more fun!
What I knew and is still true: workouts with friends & outdoors, are the best kind of workouts!
