Through a powerful partnership with local health departments and the Ascension Wisconsin Foundation, Ascension Wisconsin has distributed over 2,000 free naloxone kits to patients at risk of opioid overdose. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdose; and now, it's available at 10 Ascension Wisconsin emergency departments statewide, thanks to a growing initiative that began at right here at St. Joe's.
