Crystal is a trusted In-Charge Technologist in our Chemistry department known for her calm guidance, strong clinical intuition, and unwavering support of her colleagues. Over the past year, she has:

· Strengthened team communication and led with reliability during high- pressure moments
· Managed critical quality processes, improving accuracy and operational efficiency
· Supported key research and public health initiatives
· Identified a life-threatening triglyceride level that led to timely patient intervention

Last week, Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories was proud to join Progressive Community Health Centers, Inc. for their annual Community Appreciation Celebration! We tabled alongside several other community health–focused organizations, sharing vital information about our partnership with Progressive and handing out fun giveaways.

The event brought together neighbors from across the city who enjoyed free food, prizes, and valuable health resources — all while connecting with services that help keep our community healthy and thriving.

We’re grateful to Progressive Community Health Centers for creating such a welcoming space to connect with the community, and we look forward to continuing our work together to improve access to quality healthcare in Milwaukee.

In honor of National Cancer Prevention Month, Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories would like to highlight our special partnership with the Clinical Cancer Center at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Main Campus! To support the immediate needs of our cancer patients, we have a dedicated cancer center laboratory that aids providers with the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of cancer. Our Cobas Pro is the latest available generation of Roche’s chemistry analyzers that we've set up for specialized testing. It analyzes biomarkers and other indicators that show how well a patient is responding to treatment, such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Our Cancer Center laboratory is integral to comprehensive cancer care, enabling quality care that improves patient outcomes and advanced cancer treatment.
