Chronic low back pain can actually change the muscles that support your spine! 💪

A study of over 200 people found that prolonged inactivity can make back pain last longer. When we move less, fat can build up in a deep spine-supporting muscle called the multifidus. When this muscle isn’t working correctly, your spine gets less support, making pain harder to resolve.

That’s why staying active and restoring deep muscle function is key to long-term back health. 🏃‍♂️

What if changing how you understand and manage your back pain could help you rely less on medication? 🤔💪

A new study followed more than 4,700 people with low back pain after they joined an education + exercise program, and the results were encouraging:

✅ 34% of people using pain meds were able to stop
✅ Those who felt more confident managing their pain were far less likely to need medication
✅ And as confidence improved over time, medication use continued to drop

This shows that pain medication isn’t the only option.
