Did you know our Executive Director is on the Board of Directors for the Milwaukie Community Center Foundation?

She spent the day at the Clackamas County Courthouse advocating for the Milwaukie Community Center, fighting against the budget cuts proposed; this proposal would shut down the community center on Friday’s, lay off a Social Services employee, and eliminate the transportation program that has offered 5-6 thousand rides/year to the center since 1994.

Access to socialization, meal service and care is essential to seniors in our community.
