One of the stories Steph shared in our Featured Expert interview stayed with me…

Steph told the story of Felix, an Eastern Screech Owl who became deeply bonded to another owl named Siggy. When Siggy passed away, Felix went into what was described as depression-based anorexia.

He stopped eating.
He lost 20% of his body weight.
And they almost lost him.

Years later, after losing another bonded companion, Steph had a very different set of tools available to support Felix naturally -including essential oils.

This time, instead of spiraling into grief and shutting down physically, Felix continued eating and maintaining his weight, despite the trauma of losing another mate.

It was such a powerful reminder that birds are incredibly emotional, sensitive creatures and that supporting their emotional wellness matters just as much as supporting their physical health.

Tonight we are going to talk about ALL OF IT. How to recognize the symptoms of internal and external parasites in your pets and what to do about it. As well as steps you can take to help PREVENT these parasites and pests from causing problems, naturally.
