We’ve been busy. Season 3 of Veritas Views has a new format, and we really want to know how it’s landing for you.

If you’re new here: Veritas Views is a podcast where two doctoral-level psychologists (Dr. Gayle MacBride and Dr. Dan Kessler) break down real-life dynamics with both clinical clarity and a sense of humor. Michael MacBride hosts, steers the conversation, and keeps us moving from “wait, what?” to “okay, that actually makes sense.”

What’s new in Season 3:
✅ Three segments per episode
✅ An AITA in the middle every time
✅ Rotating segments on either side of AITA
✅ A tighter intro + conclusion that ties the episode together with a single thread

Examples of the rotating segments you’ll hear:
🪞 You’re Not Crazy, But… (the “this is a real thing and here’s why it feels awful” segment)
📩 Unpack This Text (we dissect a message, tone, subtext, and what it’s really communicating)
📺 That Would Never Work in Therapy (pop-culture therapy moments that make clinicians wince)
🍸 Two Therapists Walk Into a… (workplace and relationship situations, bar-joke setup, real psychology underneath)
👔 Leadership Lies (the workplace myths that quietly burn people out)
🧪 Microdoses of Dysfunction (small patterns that cause outsized conflict)
🛋️ Confessions From the Couch (a candid therapist-to-human segment where we tackle a single question fast, clear, and no fluff)

If you have not listened to Season 3 yet, pick an episode and give it a spin, then tell us:
What’s working best in the new structure?
What would you tweak?
Which segment do you want more of?

If you’ve been impacted, we see you.

The headlines about layoffs aren’t just numbers.

They’re lives, careers, and families recalibrating overnight.
Even when it’s “just business,” it feels deeply personal.
Change on this scale can shake confidence, identity, and routine. It’s normal to feel disoriented, angry, or even numb.

But here’s what we’ve learned after years of working with high-achieving professionals and leaders in transition: this moment, painful as it is, can also be a hinge. A point of redirection, not collapse.

At Veritas Psychology Partners, we help people rebuild after disruption:
• Regaining focus and clarity
• Reconnecting with purpose and confidence
• Reframing stress into sustainable momentum

If you’re navigating uncertainty right now, whether you’ve lost a role, kept one, or are leading through the fallout... you don’t have to do it alone.

We love seeing local women business leaders connecting and supporting each other! Thanks Kathryn "Casey" Zebrev • Realtor for all you do in the community. We know Dr. Gayle MacBride loved the treat and support, and are sure Donut Connection appreciated the continued patronage!

Nothing sweeter than strong women supporting each other (except maybe the donuts she brought!). Huge thanks to my friend and favorite local realtor, Kathryn "Casey" Zebrev • Realtor for swinging by this morning with a box of magic from Donut Connection — my absolute favorite.

We got a chance to chat business, life, and all the beautiful chaos in between. I’m so lucky to know women who show up with kindness, community spirit, and carbs.

Supporting each other in business doesn’t always have to look like referrals or deals — sometimes it’s showing up with donuts!

Setting boundaries isn’t just a personal choice; it’s a fundamental aspect of maintaining your mental well-being and nurturing your relationships. Dr. Dan Kessler delves into the significance of understanding your personal limits and articulating them effectively. By doing so, you can significantly alleviate stress, ward off the overwhelming feeling of burnout, and foster more meaningful and healthy connections with those around you.

Dr. Daniel Kessler is a clinical psychologist specializing in insomnia, relationship issues, anxiety and s*xual concerns. The goals of therapy are to gain understanding and make change. Dr. Kessler has been practicing for 30 years, has training in marital counseling, completed extensive coursework in s*x therapy, and is Board Certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (the treatment of sleep disorders with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). 🚨 Teens and : What Every Parent Needs to Know 🚨

Social media is full of trends, but not all of them are harmless. Beth Ann Mayer interviewed Dr. Gayle MacBride for Parents Magazine, where she breaks down the rise of "NarcTok"—a TikTok trend focused on identifying narcissistic behavior—and why it’s resonating with teenagers.

💡 Why does this matter for parents, especially those in leadership roles?

As executives, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers, you know that leadership starts at home. Understanding how your teen interprets relationships—especially through social media—can help you support their emotional well-being, model healthy boundaries, and navigate tough conversations.

In this interview with Beth Ann Mayer, Dr. MacBride offers expert insight into:
✅ What "NarcTok" is and why it’s so popular
✅ The risks and benefits of teens engaging with this content
✅ How parents can foster critical thinking and emotional intelligence in their kids
