Exciting news! My Kickerstarter campaign has been approved 🥳
This project was inspired by my 2021 dissertation titled What’s Your Safe Word? Kink: America’s Current Sexual Revolution. For it I interviewed individuals about their kink practice, when it began, how they knew, what their practice looks like today and beyond. I was honored and awestricken to have these stories shared with me. Since completing my dissertation people continue to share their kinky coming out stories with me.
So what’s the project?
The project is an anthology book titled
I Knew I Was Kinky When…
and it will be a collection of diverse kinky coming out stories to not only inspire others, but also normalize the experience and evolution of one’s kink practice.
