This meet up took place after a few informal conversations in the sauna and two unofficial gatherings 🔥

It’s always good to pause, return to your roots, and remember where the ideas and initial purpose for anything comes from. Celebrating three years of serving up an experience for sober folks and those who just want an evening out without alcohol, and reflecting on the people around us (that’s the really sweet and meaningful stuff) and the momentum that moved it forward.

Gratitude for this community and thank you to all of you who continue to show up and sweat!

🎟️ May 17: Jean Nitchals of , will be leading two 30-minute soothing sound bath sessions designed to deliver calming vibrations for a restorative mind-body experience. While on your mat, feel the depth of sound through instruments representing the ocean, rain, and wind. 🌊☔️💨

And new new news — we are so excited to partner with ! Sam and Luke, owners, will be serving up fresh-baked protein bars and their raw juices — all complimentary and included in the tix price.

Also new to S&S events programming, a certified sauna guide in the method of hot and cold contrast therapy, and of will offer ritual and guided sessions throughout the evening, no sign up required.

Three saunas will be going — two open steam community saunas — and cold immersion will be available in Embrace North’s state-of-the-art chiller pool. 40 degrees folks!

Nonalcoholic beverage excellence will be free and flowing all evening long by and will include and + a few new featured bev partners!

So much to tell about last night Sauna and Sobriety at — reveling in the power of community.

Thanks for this and many amazing shots — and being with us since the beginning nearly three years ago. This one just captured the glow of a chill but hopeful spring evening.

Gratitude to everyone who showed up with a willingness to get out of their comfort zone — whether in the heat of the sauna, the 40° of the cold immersion, the vulnerability of breath work by Nick Fox and the ritual in sauna by Sierra Blake and as the closing note.

At the intersection of people more mindfully drinking or choosing a 100% alcohol-free lifestyle and sauna as the setting, Sauna and Sobriety is featured in a piece by Joel Williams and Leigh Waldman (CNN) with Jason Goodman and . In great company!

Bathhouse and Othership, east coast and brick and mortar sauna models with curated experiences; and Sauna and Sobriety, Minneapolis-based with community and social at the center, all share in helping people boost their health and rebuild life connections. The feature is part of ongoing coverage by CNN on the wellbeing and social aspect of sauna. ++ as touches on, it helps people build relationships in a healthier way (i.e. not at the bar), which contributes to an entirely new way to approach dating and meeting like-minded people.

For nearly 20 S&S events Natalie Lang has brought her love of culinary and serving nourishing eats to the table!

She’ll be at our Jan 18 event — check out the menu!

Sorghum salad with chickpeas, celery, zucchini, kale, and cucumbers with a delicious tahini dressing; Seaweed salad with wakame, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots; and azuki beans with brown rice. Of course we always dip — this event we’ll have a spread of hummus, salsa. and chips. Plus fruit and a few sweet treats : ) — and yes, all of this plus unlimited nonalcoholic beverage sampling — all included in your $45 tix 🎟️
