We hosted the inaugural MnTiC Summer Bash at our building on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis. This was an opportunity for members of our tic and OCD community to meet each other and enjoy relaxed time together.

Attendees learned about the different parts of the brain, checked out our scientific posters, ate yummy food and participated in our community art project.

We are so grateful for everyone who came! We can’t wait to share the completed art project with you all soon and to do it again next year! 🩵🩵

Every month we’re going to share a little Tidbit of our science with you!

Research is a long process. It usually takes years for research findings to get published in peer-reviewed journals (meaning experts have to see it first and make sure it’s good). This is a necessary step in research and we will keep getting our primary findings peer-reviewed.

BUT, in order to give information back to the community on a shorter timeline, we will be using Science Tidbits!!

These posts will have real data, but the type of data we will share is called, descriptive data. It tells us about who is participating in our studies which by itself can be very interesting and it’s important!
