As MAPA celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re taking time to reflect on the pivotal moments that shaped our history. Let’s begin in 1973 with the launch of Minnesota’s first PA program at St. Cloud State College. Graduates from the inaugural classes of 1975 and 1976 went on to form the fledgling Minnesota Society of Primary Care Physician Assistants in 1976, laying the foundation for the organization we know today.
