Perhaps we have it all wrong
We put it upside down
We chase success
The external

We bury our true gifts
We step in line
Run in circles
To up our performance

Not trained to think
The systems push us
Past go
Into overload

Starting a whirlwind
Of internal chaos
That we ignore
Until we implode

What if we passed
Not out of fear
But from a place
Grand possibilities

And we think
What was I made for
And there
We explore

And we don’t settle
Until we are truly energized
Our passion and peace align

WHAT IF
It’s just on the other side
Of fear

Instead of wondering alone
What if we create a community
Of people
Helping people

And we don’t charge for advice or services
We just come together to help lift
Someone into their dreams

What a world
What a life
What purpose
It would be

We would live better
And die well
Because we wouldn’t be
Embodied with fear and regret

You planted this seed inside of me 26 years ago. Surrounded by trees and water. Sitting by a campfire. 🔥 You had me hear and feel the heart cries of those that are suffering in silence. I wept from being overwhelmed. Then you planted this seed and showed me the design you intended to use to touch them.

Use my life. For Your greater purpose. I lay it down. Over and over again. Use me to touch those in need.

Continue to gather those that will help support and lift this vision into a reality. Draw them, Lord.

Protect us as we do Your work.

We are concluding Jamie’s Incredulous journey
There will be one last podcast next Saturday.

This has been a profoundly healing experience for Ed and me,
To share her story and bring awareness to complex conditions.

To inspire the world to provide dignity, compassionate care, and nurturing support throughout life.

I made a promise to Jamie:
Her story will live on.
Her legacy will never fade.

That The Wildflower Center will become a beacon of hope with a 12-bed inpatient residential hospice home for trauma survivors, set amidst nature.

I will always cherish the memory of her radiant smile when she heard this vision.
